This was my first ever ceramic sculpture, it depicts my eldest daughter who is creative and loves to draw and write stories and poems. She was born in Africa with a love for nature and animals and a strong sense to protect and nurture wildlife. We moved to the UK when she was 10 and at first she struggled to adapt, feeling as different as a Giraffe with British Flag Markings! This was a sculpture to celebrate all that makes her who she is.
