I’m Michelle Wade, illustrator and ceramic sculptor inspired by nature’s beauty.
I hope that my art inspires
I create art inspired by nature;
the intricate patterns of a seed pod;
the spirit and personality of an animal;
the wisdom and strength of a tree.
love and compassion for
nature and a need to nurture it.
Illustration & Art
Every artwork is inspired by my experiences in nature;
somewhere spectacular that I have visited,
something fascinating that I have seen
or an interesting story I have been told…
Ceramic Art
Each ceramic piece I create becomes precious to me,
inspired by my love of animals, seed pods, birds or trees.
There is a kind of magic in creating ceramic sculpture;
they seem to breathe life in . . .
and become a new creature that wasn’t there before.
